Cambridge Philosophical Society

The Society’s next lecture will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, 24 November 2014, in the Bristol-Myers Squibb Lecture Theatre, Department of Chemistry, Lensfield Road. Dr Andrew Flewitt will give a lecture entitled MEMS biosensors and their potential for improving healthcare.

Society for the History of the University

The next meeting will be held at 8.30 p.m. in the Old Library, Darwin College, on Thursday, 20 November 2014. Dr Annamarieke Willemsen will give a paper entitled Daily life at medieval and renaissance universities: the material culture of studying and partying. Refreshments will be served from 8 p.m.
