Fitzwilliam College: A memorial service for Professor Sir James Clarke Holt, M.A., D.Phil., Hon. D.Litt., FBA, FSA, Master of Fitzwilliam College from 1981 to 1988, Life Fellow and Honorary Fellow of Fitzwilliam College, Honorary Fellow of Emmanuel College, Emeritus Professor of Medieval History, will be held at 3.30 p.m. in the Church of St Mary the Great on Saturday, 25 October 2014. Refreshments will be served at Fitzwilliam College after the service.

St Catharine’s College and St Edmund’s College: A funeral service for Dr Richard Maitland Laws (see p. 54) will take place on Tuesday, 28 October 2014 at 2.15 p.m. in the West Chapel, Cambridge Crematorium.
