The Council submits the following Grace to the Regent House. This Grace, unless it is withdrawn or a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 107), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 21 June 2013.
1. That, on the recommendation of the General Board, the Professorship of Comparative Oncology and Genetics be retitled the Professorship of Small Animal Surgery.1
1Statutes and Ordinances, p. 701. The proposed change in name reflects more closely the field in which the Department of Veterinary Medicine wishes to advertise the Professorship, which is currently vacant, in the light of the current strategic priorities of the Department.
