Graces

Graces submitted to the Regent House on 9 May 2013

The Council submits the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, unless they are withdrawn or a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 107), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 17 May 2013.

1. That, on the nomination of Robinson College, David Anthony Woodman, M.A., Ph.D., of that College, be appointed a Pro-Proctor for the academical year 2013–14.

2. That, on the nomination of Selwyn College, Hugh David Shilson-Thomas, M.A., of that College, be appointed a Pro-Proctor for the academical year 2013–14.

3. That, on the nomination of the Vice-Chancellor and the Proctors Designate, William Owen Saxton, M.A., Ph.D., of Murray Edwards College, be appointed an additional Pro-Proctor for the academical year 2013–14.1

4. That, on the nomination of the Vice-Chancellor and the Proctors Designate, Maria Christina Skott, Ph.D., of Magdalene College, be appointed an additional Pro-Proctor for the academical year 2013–14.1

5. That, on the recommendation of the General Board, the Visiting Professorship of Marketing, Strategy, and Innovation (2002) be retitled the Sandra Dawson Visiting Professorship of Marketing, Strategy, and Innovation with effect from 1 October 2013.2

Graces to be submitted to the Regent House at a Congregation on 11 May 2013

The Council has sanctioned the submission of the following Graces to the Regent House at a Congregation to be held on 11 May 2013:

That the following persons be admitted to the degree of Master of Arts under the provisions of Statute B, III, 6:

1. Julie Paterson Bressor, Fellow of King’s College.

2. Brigitte Steger, Fellow of Downing College and University Lecturer in the Department of East Asian Studies.

3. Emma Jane Stone, Senior Assistant Registrary in the Human Resources Division of the University Offices.

4. Charles Gray Weiss, Fellow of Clare College and Language Teaching Officer in the Faculty of Classics.

5. Godela Weiss-Sussex, Fellow of King’s College.
