Girton College: The 2013 Founders’ Memorial Lecture entitled Guarding the guards: the role of independent regulation, will be given by Dame Anne Owers at 5.30 p.m. on 8 March, 2013, in the Old Hall, Girton College. Memorial Service

There will be a Memorial Service for Dr Marjorie Chibnall, Honorary Fellow of Girton College; Lecturer in History, 1947–65; Fellow, 1953–65; Director of Studies in History and Fine Art, 1960–65; Honorary Fellow, 1988; Hon. D.Litt., Cambridge, 2002; OBE for services to History, 2004; D.Litt. (Hons), Birmingham, 1981.

The service will be held in Girton College Chapel on 1 March, 2013 at 3.30 p.m., followed by refreshments in the Fellows’ Rooms.
