Events

St Edmund’s College: The G. L. S. Shackle Biennial Memorial Lecture will be held on Thursday, 8 November 2012 at 4 p.m. in the Law Faculty. The guest speaker will be Lord Skidelsky, Emeritus Professor of Political Economy at the University of Warwick. Trinity College: The Tarner Lectures for the Michaelmas Term 2012 will be given by Sir Geoffrey Lloyd, formerly Professor of Ancient Philosophy and Science in the University of Cambridge, on The ideals of inquiry: an ancient history. Memorial Service

Clare College: A service of memorial and thanksgiving for the late Frederick Darnton (‘Don’) Holister, Fellow, 1962–2012, Emeritus Lecturer in Land Economy, will be held in the Chapel of Clare College on Monday, 12 November at 3 p.m (see also p. 22).

Guests are invited to join the Fellowship for refreshments afterwards in the Great Hall.
