Astronomy. Professor Paul Hewett, CC, appointed from 16 February 2012 to 30 September 2016. (Professor Hewett was previously appointed as Acting Head of Department from 1 January 2012 to 15 February 2012.)

Affiliated Lecturers

Architecture and History of Art. Mr Michael Stuart Driver, CHR, and Reverend Dr John Millington Munns, EM, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2011 for two years.

Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. Dr Simon Charles Kaner has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2011 for a further two years.

Classics. Dr Joanna Clare Willmott, Q, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2011 for a further two years.

Experimental Psychology. Dr Emma Jane Louise Weisblatt, G, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2011 for a further two years.

Geography. Dr Lawrence Andre Frideres, G, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2011 for two years.

Politics and International Studies. Dr Lawrence Hamilton, CLH, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2011 for a further two years.

Slavonic Studies. Dr Elena Y. Filimonova has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2011 for a further two years.

Spanish and Portuguese. Ms L. Barata has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2011 for a further two years.
