University Lecturer

History and Philosophy of Science. Dr Stephen David John, M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., HH, appointed from 1 September 2012 until the retiring age and subject to a probationary period of five years.

Clinical Lecturer

Medicine. Dr Thomas Francois Hiemstra, M.B., Ch.B., Stellenbosch, South Africa, MRCP (UK), MRCPE, appointed from 1 January 2012 until 30 November 2017 and subject to a probationary period of one year.

Head of School

Humanities and Social Sciences. Professor Martin Daunton, TH, appointed from 1 October 2012 until 30 September 2016.
