Vacancy in the University

Regius Professorship of Physic

Applications are invited for the Regius Professorship of Physic, an appointment made by the Crown, which will become vacant on 1 October 2012 on the retirement of Professor Patrick Sissons. The Professor will be the Head of the School of Clinical Medicine and the Executive Director of Cambridge University Health Partners. Election

Professor Huw Price, Ph.D., DAR, B.A., Australian National University, M.Sc., University of Oxford, Challis Professor of Philosophy, University of Sydney, elected Bertrand Russell Professor of Philosophy with effect from 1 October 2011.

Munby Fellowship in Bibliography

Following the withdrawal of the previously elected candidate (Reporter, 2010–11, p. 483), Mark David Curran, M.A., Ph.D., Leeds, has been elected to the Munby Fellowship in the University Library for the academical year 2011–12.
