Lucy Cavendish College

ADMISSIONS TUTOR

Following the appointment of Jane McLarty as Senior Tutor of Wolfson College, Lucy Cavendish College is looking for a new Admissions Tutor for undergraduates and would welcome applications from women* who have experience in college or university teaching and/or student support. A job description is available from the College website (http://www.lucy-cav.cam.ac.uk/), and Jane McLarty would be happy to talk to anyone interested in applying, as would Gaby Jones (the Admissions Officer).

The remuneration for the position will be £12,000 a year. It is expected that the post will encompass two days a week on average, although there will be considerable variation in hours in the course of the academical year.

A letter of application, detailing experience in college or university teaching and/or student support, and any relevant experience in admissions and recruitment, and including the names of two referees should be sent electronically to the Admissions Officer (gj202@cam.ac.uk) by 25 August 2009. Applicants must also ensure that their references reach the Admissions Officer by the closing date. Interviews will be held on 18 September 2009.
