TAYLOR PROFESSORSHIP OF THE GERMAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE

Applications are invited for the above post, tenable from 1 October 2010, or such later date as may be arranged. The successful candidate will have an outstanding research record in the modern period of German language and literature and will provide academic leadership in promoting and sustaining research within the Faculty. The post-holder will be expected to create and maintain contacts with departments of German in the UK and internationally, and to contribute broadly to undergraduate and graduate teaching, through lectures, seminars, and graduate supervision.

A non-stipendiary fellowship at The Queen's College is attached to the Professorship.
