The Governing Body of Brasenose College is seeking to appoint an Interim Bursar while the position of Bursar is reviewed and a permanent appointment is made.
The period of appointment will be from August or September 2009, with an anticipated termination in the summer of 2010.
The Bursar is the chief financial and administrative officer of the College, responsible for the College's buildings, estates, investments, and other endowment, together with the administration of its operational finances, and the supervision of the business and domestic administration of the College.
Candidates for the post must be able to demonstrate considerable experience at a senior level in roles involving financial and staff management. Relevant experience in an educational or charitable organization would be useful.
