King's College

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

King's College wishes to appoint a Director of Development in succession to Jöelle du Lac, who is moving this summer to Judge Business School.

King's College is now looking for someone to work with the Fellowship, alumni, and others in driving forward its development needs. The College has varied and exciting plans, and has recently worked out a detailed case for support. It needs someone able and willing to guide the plans to fruition.

The primary role of the Director of Development, working closely with the Provost, is to raise money for the College. The Director is in charge of the Development Office, which also oversees alumni contacts and events.

On appointment by the College Council, the Director of Development will be simultaneously elected an Ordinary Fellow of the College.

Applications should be submitted to arrive by 30 June 2009 and may be submitted electronically to jobs@kings.cam.ac.uk or by post to the Personnel Department, King's College, Cambridge, CB2 1ST. Further particulars are available on the College website (http://www.kings.cam.ac.uk/).
