Announcement of lectures, seminars, etc.

The following lectures, seminars, etc. are open to members of the University and others who are interested.

Clinical Medicine. The Sixteenth Raymond and Beverly Sackler Distinguished Lecture, entitled Chromosomes' ends in human health and disease, will be given at 5.15 p.m. on Monday, 15 June, in the William Harvey Lecture Theatre, School of Clinical Medicine, Addenbrooke's Hospital, by Professor Elizabeth Blackburn, Professor of Biology and Physiology at the University of California, San Francisco.

Centre for Family Research. Faculty of Politics, Psychology, Sociology, and International Studies. Dr Gail Ewing, of the Centre for Family Research, will give a seminar entitled Choices at the end of life: the importance of family carers, at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, 9 June, in Room 606, Centre for Family Research, Free School Lane.
