Hughes Hall

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATES

Hughes Hall invites applications for three vacant positions of Research Associates. Candidates must, at the time of election, be of postdoctoral standing and in the employ of the University with a research contract of at least two years duration. They may be graduates of any university. There are no conditions of age or subject attached to these positions, but applicants should normally be early in their research careers. Candidates will be selected by reference to their potential for contributing to the intellectual, educational, and social life of the College.

A Postdoctoral Research Associateship will normally be tenable for two years with the possibility of one extension of up to two further years, but dependent on co-terminous continuous postdoctoral employment within the University. These positions are non-stipendiary, but holders will enjoy the privileges and facilities of the College available to Senior Members.

Application forms and further particulars may be obtained by communicating in writing (not email) with Dr M. J. Franklin, Registrary, at Hughes Hall, Mortimer Road, Cambridge, CB1 2EW.

Candidates should submit a completed application form and a single confidential academic reference to the Registrary at Hughes Hall. The application form allows candidates the opportunity to explain their research and other interests, and to identify ways in which they feel they might be able to contribute to, and benefit from, the life of the College.
