NON-STIPENDIARY RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

Applications are invited for one non-stipendiary Research Fellowship, tenable for up to three years from 1 October 2009. Applications are welcome in any subject. Candidates must have external funding support for their salary for the term of their Fellowship. This includes, but is not restricted to, research appointments from the Royal Society, the British Academy, the various Research Councils of the United Kingdom, the Wellcome Trust or the Leverhulme Trust. The Research Fellowship is open to graduates of any university who, on 1 October 2009, will have completed not more than five years of research.

The main function of the Non-Stipendiary Fellowships is to offer researchers who have already secured external funding at the University of Cambridge the chance to participate in College life and enjoy the benefits of a College Fellowship. Research Fellows will be full members of the College's Governing Body.

Further details, and forms to be completed, are available on the College website (http://www.corpus.cam.ac.uk/fellowship/research-fellowship/).

The completed application must be received by 12 noon on 5 June 2009. Applications may be submitted by post (eight copies), or electronically. Candidates must also arrange for confidential testimonials to be sent direct to the College, to be received by the same date, by two referees familiar with their work. Shortlisted candidates must be available for interview on 29 June 2009.

Any enquiries should be addressed to the Research Fellowship Competition, Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, CB2 1RH (email research-fellowships@corpus.cam.ac.uk).
