University Senior Lecturer (non-clinical) in Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care

Applications are invited for an outstanding epidemiologist to join one of Europe's leading academic departments of population health sciences, in which several research and training programmes in cardiovascular disease are flourishing.

The post-holder will be able to demonstrate a track record of, or potential for, leading an independent programme of research in this area (for example, by having postgraduate qualifications in epidemiology, high-impact publications, or research grants). The post-holder will have experience of teaching at a postgraduate level and be able to contribute to existing and new postgraduate programmes funded by the British Heart Foundation and other sources.

The salary will be in the range of £49,096 to £52,086 a year. A suitable candidate with less experience is eligible for appointment at the non-clinical University Lecturer level (with a salary scale from £36,532 to £46,278 a year).
