The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that she has received with gratitude notice of a generous benefaction totalling $1,000,000 over ten years from the Jerry Lee Foundation to support postgraduate scholarships or postdoctoral fellowships relating to research in the area of experimental criminology in the Institute of Criminology. The terms of the donation allow the spending of both income and capital of the benefaction.
The Council is submitting a Grace to the Regent House (Grace 1, p. 671) for the approval of regulations to govern the fund.
