Following the retirement of the current Librarian, the College is seeking to make a new appointment, with effect from August 2009. The salary will be between £28,000 and £35,000 a year.
The post-holder will be responsible for the strategic planning and developing of library resources in the context of the wider University system, the efficient management of library acquisitions, and for providing relevant information and services to the members of the College and external parties.
The post-holder will need a good first degree (in any subject) and hold a postgraduate qualification in library and information studies accredited by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.
