Great St Mary's, the University Church, seeks a Chaplain and Associate Vicar to: provide care for members of the research community and staff of the University of Cambridge; work within the Human Resources department in supporting chaplaincy resources across the University; and minister as a member of the staff of Great St Mary's, which provides a pastoral and liturgical base.
Among other responsibilities, the Chaplain works closely with members of different faith communities, and engages with theological and ethical issues arising out of the wide-ranging research programmes of the University.
The appointment is for five years, is of incumbent status, and requires an enhanced CRB disclosure. The closing date for applications is 5 May 2009. Interviews will be held on 20 May 2009.
