ARCHIVIST

Girton College seeks to appoint an Archivist, responsible for the organization, conservation, and promotion of the College archive collections, which are of national and international significance. The appointee will also assist the Curator with the administration of the College's collection of pictures. The Archivist will be a member of the College library management team.

An appropriate professional qualification is essential, together with hands-on knowledge of computerized archive and library management systems and a sound background in cataloguing archival collections. The appointee will also require good management and communication skills.

The salary is in the range of £24,403 to £28,290 a year, and the post is full-time (35 hours a week). The College offers benefits commensurate with working for a large constituent College of Cambridge University.
