regulations for examinations

The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:

Second Vet.M.B. Examination (Comparative Vertebrate Biology)

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 525)

With effect from 3 December 2008

By Notice in the Reporter of 3 December 2008 p. 277) the regulation for the examination in Comparative Vertebrate Biology (CVB) in Part IB of the Medical and Veterinary Sciences Tripos, was amended to remove the requirement for a viva voce examination. The regulation for the same subject in the Second Vet.M.B. Examination should have been amended at the same time as follows:

Regulation 7(d).

By amending the regulation so as to read:

(d) The examination in CVB shall consist of a combined written and practical paper of an hour and a half, which shall contain short answer questions (Section I) and a practical examination (Section II); candidates will be allowed forty-five minutes to complete each section.
