JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AND LECTURERSHIP IN ENGLISH LITERATURE (1642-1832)

The College proposes to award a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lecturership in English Literature, tenable from 1 October 2009 for three years, with the possibility of renewal for a further year. The post is intended to be a career development position suitable for someone who is close to completing a doctorate, or is of postdoctoral standing in the early stages of her or his academic career.

The JRF will be required to give up to six hours a week of tuition in English during term time, and should be able to teach broadly within the period 1642 to 1832. The post-holder will also be required to take part in the annual admissions procedures.

The stipend is £12,076 to £13,592 a year, plus allowances.
