SENIOR TUTOR AND FELLOW

Trinity College invites applications for the post of Senior Tutor and Fellow, which is available from 1 October 2009. The position offers a challenging opportunity as the College develops its role as an integral part of Oxford University. The Senior Tutor will be a member of the College's Governing Body. He or she will be accountable to the Governing Body for overseeing the College's academic activities, including the development of policy, arrangements for admitting and teaching undergraduates and admitting graduates, and relations with the University and external bodies. He or she will also undertake general management duties and participate in the College's development activities. The position involves no teaching or research duties. Candidates should be committed to academic values and concerns and have experience of administration or management, preferably in an educational context.

The salary will be £61,000 a year, including housing allowance. Other allowances are available. The College operates a home purchase scheme to assist Fellows in purchasing their house.
