The following appointments, reappointment, and grants of title have been made:

Appointments

Associate Lecturers

Pathology. Dr Meryl Helen Griffiths, M.B.B.S., Melbourne, FRCPath, and Dr Flora Ann Jessop, B.Sc., M.B., Ch.B., Glasgow, FRCPath, appointed from 15 January 2009 for five years.

Clinical Lecturers

Clinical Neurosciences. Dr Joanne Louise Jones, Ph.D., JE, M.B., Ch.B., Bristol, MRCPath, appointed from 1 February 2009 for four years.

Medicine. Dr Timothy James Burton, M.A., M.B., B.Chir., Ph.D., DOW, appointed from 1 February 2009 for four years. Dr Laurie Alexandra Tomlinson, B.Sc., M.B.B.S., London, appointed from 23 March 2009 for four years.

Philosophy. Dr Mark Hogarth, G, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2008 for one year.
