TUTORIAL FELLOWSHIP AND UNIVERSITY LECTURERSHIP (CUF) (TITULAR) IN LAW IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE FACULTY OF LAW

St Edmund Hall and the Faculty of Law welcome applications for a Tutorial Fellowship in Law and Titular CUF Lecturership. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate aptitude for and interest in conducting tutorials and giving lectures; and he or she will have excellent research capability. The College hopes to appoint a person able to offer teaching for the College in Public Law (including at least three of criminal law, constitutional law, administrative law, and European Union law), although consideration may also be given to applicants offering teaching in certain other areas of the Oxford syllabus, as set out in the further particulars.

The post is available from 1 October 2009 or as soon as possible thereafter. The Fellowship will be held in conjunction with a Titular University Lecturership (CUF) in the Faculty of Law. The successful candidate will enjoy a rich and stimulating academic environment in which to pursue research and teaching in Law.

The salary will be on a scale currently from £49,199 to £63,766 a year, including pensionable housing allowance. Additional College and Faculty allowances are available.
