Professor Derek Smith, Professor of Infectious Disease Informatics, Department of Zoology, will give a lecture entitled Where is it safe to go on holiday? Antigenic cartography; a mathematical method for mapping the spread of viruses, at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, 2 March 2009, in the Wolfson Lecture Theatre, Churchill College.
Coffee and biscuits will be served from 7 p.m. in the foyer outside the theatre. All are welcome. CSAR members are admitted free (together with their guests, depending upon their type of membership). Non-members are asked to pay a nominal entry fee of £3.00.
