COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN CLASSICS (IN COLLABORATION WITH THE FACULTY OF CLASSICS)

Girton College seeks to appoint a College Lecturer, Director of Studies, and Wrigley Fellow in Classics with effect from 1 October 2009 for a fixed term of three years with the possibility of renewal. The Lecturer will be required to teach in small group supervisions for eight hours a week during Full Term, to act as Director of Studies for Classics students at Girton College, and to assist in the recruitment and admission of Classics students. The post-holder will also offer teaching within the Faculty of Classics, providing approximately sixteen hours of lectures a year in one of the Faculty's teaching areas (including Greek and Latin Language) and some graduate supervision.

The stipend will be on the scale of £25,888 to £33,780 a year. The stipend will be pensionable under USS.
