The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that Mr Kamalesh Sharma, of King's College, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, and formerly India's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, will deliver a lecture entitled Global transformation and challenge, at 5 p.m. on Thursday, 12 March 2009.
Mr Sharma's lecture, which will be delivered during Commonwealth Week, will take place in the College Theatre, Peterhouse. All are welcome and a reception will be held afterwards in the Lubbock Room.
Those attending are requested to avoid bringing either large bags or lap-top computers.
