Professor Michael Stratton, Deputy Director of the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Head of the Cancer Genome Project, will give a lecture entitled Genetics and cancer - the BRCA2 gene and its involvement in human breast and prostate cancer, at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, 16 February 2009, in the Wolfson Lecture Theatre, Churchill College. Coffee and biscuits will be served from 7 p.m. in the foyer outside the theatre. All are welcome. CSAR members are admitted free (together with their guests, depending upon their type of membership). Non-members are asked to pay a nominal entry fee of £3.00.
