King's College

BOB ALEXANDER COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN LAW

Applications are invited for appointment from 1 September 2009 to the Bob Alexander College Lectureship in Law together with a Fellowship, tenable for up to five years (the initial appointment being for three years with a possible two-year extension). The successful applicant will teach ten hours a week in supervisions (small group teaching) and supervise in at least two fields.

While applicants with other interests are welcome, the College is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in one of the following fields: Contract, Land Law, Equity, and European Union Law. The successful candidate will also undertake administrative duties including directing studies and undergraduate admissions, and be expected to play a full part in the life of the College. The Lectureship is tenable with or without another salaried appointment in the University. For a Lecturer with no other post, the stipend will be on a scale commencing at £35,837 a year.
