FELLOW AND COLLEGE LECTURER IN HISTORY

Jesus College wishes to appoint a College Lecturer in History, with active research and teaching interests in any period after 1500. The post is for a fixed term of five years, from 1 October 2009, and carries with it a Fellowship at the College.

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake up to twelve hours a week of small-group teaching (supervision) in History and to play an active part in the organization of the subject, including helping with admissions.

The stipend, which can be pensionable under the Universities Superannuation Scheme, is in the range £25,135 to £30,912 a year.
