The subject for 2009 is 'The Wreck of the Deutschland' by Gerard Manley Hopkins, and The Prelude ('Tristram and Iseult') and Canto 1 ('The Sailing of the Swallow') from 'Tristram of Lyonesse' by A. C. Swinburne.
The names of the candidates should be sent to the Registrary by their Tutors not less than fourteen days before the day of the examination.
