COLLEGE LECTURESHIP AND FELLOWSHIP IN ECONOMICS

Applications are invited for appointment, preferably from 1 October 2009, to a College Lectureship in Economics together with a Fellowship, tenable for five years in the first instance. The successful applicant will assist in supervising and directing studies in Economics in the College. Expertise in and an ability to supervise Macroeconomics would be an advantage.

The Lectureship is tenable with or without another salaried appointment in the University. For a Lecturer with no other post, the stipend will be on a scale roughly comparable with that for University Lecturers, with placing according to experience and qualifications.

Applications should be made to the Senior Tutor, Trinity College, Cambridge, CB2 1TQ, from whom further particulars may be obtained (tel. 01223 330874, email senior.tutor@trin.cam.ac.uk). Details are also available on the Trinity College website (http://www.trin.cam.ac.uk/). Applicants should send a statement of qualifications, publications, and teaching experience, and should also ensure that not more than three referees have written directly to the Senior Tutor on their behalf, before the closing date of Monday, 26 January 2009. It is expected that interviews will be held on Tuesday, 24 February 2009.
