Classical Tripos, Part II, 2010: Prescribed subjects and books: Amendment

Further to their Notice of 18 June 2008 (Reporter, 2007-08, p. 878), the Faculty Board of Classics give notice of the following amendments to the subjects prescribed for the Classical Tripos, 2010 (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 279).

Part II

GROUP D (ARCHAEOLOGY)

Paper D2. A topic within classical archaeology and/or art

The art of collecting (in) Greece and Rome.

This paper has been withdrawn. Paper D2 is now entitled 'The art and archaeology of Roman Britain'.


GROUP E (LANGUAGE)

Paper E2. E pluribus unum: The making of Greek

This paper has been withdrawn. Paper E2 is now entitled 'Greek from Mycenae to Homer'.

The Faculty Board have confirmed that no candidate's preparation for the examination in 2010 will be adversely affected by these changes.
