The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that, in connection with events marking the start of the University's octocentenary year, she has designated 17 January 2009, the first Saturday in Full Lent Term, as an additional 'scarlet day', and she also requests that the University Flag be flown on that day from University buildings having flagpoles.
