Dr Jim Platts, of the Department of Engineering, will give a lecture, entitled What goes round comes round - making wind turbines from renewable materials, at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, 17 November 2008, in the Wolfson Lecture Theatre, Churchill College. Coffee and biscuits will be served from 7 p.m. in the foyer outside the theatre. All are welcome. CSAR members are admitted free (together with their guests, depending upon their type of membership). Non-members are asked to pay a nominal entry fee of £3.00.
