The 2008 Research Funding Roadshow will be held on 12 November 2008 at the University Centre. The event brings together many major University research sponsors and is intended for academics and research support staff who want to find out more about the latest research funding opportunities.
The Roadshow is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak to sponsor representatives about the various funding schemes and get tips for applications. Workshops will be held throughout the day and will be led by EPSRC, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, Leverhulme Trust, Nuffield Foundation, The Royal Society, UK Research Office (European Funding), and Wellcome Trust.
