The next meeting, held jointly with the Cambridgeshire Association for Local History, to mark the 350th anniversary of the death of the Protector, will be held on Saturday, 1 November, at 2.15 p.m. in St John's Hall, Blinco Grove. Dr John Goldsmith will speak on Cromwell in statues and stained glass.
A further meeting will take place on Monday, 3 November, at 6 p.m. in the Law Faculty Building, West Road. Dr Iain Morley will speak on Archaeology and the origins of music. Members may bring guests and students are warmly invited.
