Applications are invited for the above post, tenable from as early a date as can be arranged. A non-stipendiary Fellowship at St Catherine's College is attached to the Professorship. This is a new chair, and the Professor will be expected to provide leadership across the range of research activity in the Nuffield Department of Surgery and the Botnar Research Centre.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate evidence of strong leadership potential at national and international level, an excellent track record in research, an ability to compete for, and to obtain, independent external grant support, and a strong commitment to fostering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
