SENIOR TUTOR

Queens' College wishes to appoint a new Senior Tutor from 1 October 2009, in succession to Dr Murray Milgate.

The Senior Tutor leads both the academic and the tutorial/pastoral life at Queens'. More generally, the Senior Tutor plays a key role in the development of overall strategic policies in the College.

The post may be full-time or part-time. An applicant for a part-time appointment will need to assure the Governing Body that the tasks of the Senior Tutor are compatible with her or his other commitments. The full-time salary for this position will fall within the range £50,000 to £62,000 a year. If a part-time appointment is made, the salary will reflect the scale of the part-time commitment

The Senior Tutor will be elected to an Official Fellowship.
