Up to ten awards for UK scholars wishing to undertake a postgraduate programme tenable at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA, will be available in 2009. The total annual value of the award exceeds US$70,000 and provides funding to cover tuition fees and a monthly stipend (up to a maximum of two years) which in addition to maintenance costs allows for vacation travel within the USA.
