The George Drexler Foundation

The Foundation was founded in 1959 by George Drexler, a successful businessman, to provide financial assistance to individuals for the purposes of the advancement of education.

The Foundation wishes to assist gifted or talented students in developing their individual skills or supporting projects particularly those students in medical education (NOT medical electives).

It is a strict requirement of the Foundation that a link with commerce must be established for an application to be considered. To qualify either the applicant, the applicant's parents or grandparents must have owned a commercial business. (not including professional people i.e. doctors, accountants, architects, solicitors, etc). Closing date: 30 April 2009.
