The Faculty Board of Divinity invite applications for grants from the Alasdair Charles Macpherson Fund on a termly basis. Grants may be given for expenses of research, including travel, to persons who are graduate students in the Faculty of Divinity and are of not more than ten years' standing from their first degree.
Each applicant must acquire an application form from the Faculty Office, Faculty of Divinity, West Road, Cambridge, CB3 9BS, and should return it to the Registrary (addressed to the Awards Clerk), The Old Schools, Cambridge, CB2 1TN, supported by a recommendation from the candidate's College, together with a statement of the project to which the grant will be put, so as to reach him not later than 7 November 2008, 27 February 2009, and 8 May 2009. The envelope should be marked 'Alasdair Charles Macpherson Fund'.
