RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

The College intends to elect up to two Research Fellows from 1 October 2009 for a period of three years. The Fellowships are open to men and women graduates of any university who are either members of the College, or not being members of the College, are engaged in research in one of the following subject areas: Modern and Medieval Languages or Neuroscience.

Candidates for the Research Fellowship in Modern and Medieval Languages should offer a research specialism in either (i) Post-1945 culture and thought; or (ii) Linguistics (with emphasis on either (a) Historical or (b) Romance).

Candidates for the Research Fellowship in Neuroscience should offer a research specialism in human cognitive neuroscience.

Applicants should be early in their academic careers and have just completed, or be about to complete, their Ph.D. Degree by 1 October 2009. Candidates who have their own source of funding are eligible for a non-stipendiary award and are encouraged to apply.
