With effect from 1 September 2009

On the recommendation of the Faculty Board of Business and Management, the General Board have agreed to amend the regulations for the M.B.A. Degree to retitle the open course as the Executive M.B.A. course and to increase the number of classroom hours required during the two years of the course. This course will be open to candidates with several years' experience in business who will be continuing in their professional careers during their course of study. The regulations have been amended as follows:

Regulation 4(c).

By amending the title of the course of study from 'Open course' to 'Executive M.B.A. course', and by amending in line 2 the number of hours of formal instruction from 'not less than 200' to 'not less than 300'.

Regulation 9.

By amending in line 2 the reference to 'Open candidates' so as to read 'Executive M.B.A. candidates'.
