M.Phil. Degree (one-year course): Examinations in Environmental Policy, Planning, Growth, and Regeneration, Real Estate Finance, and Land Economy Research, 2008-09: Notice

The Degree Committee for the Department of Land Economy give notice, with the approval of the Board of Graduate Studies and the General Board, that in the academical year 2008-09 the modules for: Environmental Policy; Planning, Growth, and Regeneration; Real Estate Finance; and Land Economy Research, in the examination for the M.Phil. Degree (one-year course), in addition to the compulsory dissertation, will be as follows. Each candidate's course of study will be subject to the approval of the Degree Committee. Modules may be withdrawn if there is not sufficient demand or in the event of exceptional circumstances. Availability of modules will be subject to satisfactory completion of prerequisite modules specified by the Department of Land Economy as specified in the Postgraduate Handbook, and to timetabling constraints.

The Degree Committee also give notice that in the examination to be held in 2008-09, in addition to the compulsory dissertation in each M.Phil.:

1. The modules offered in the Michaelmas Term will be examined before the start of Full Lent Term by an essay and/or project not exceeding 4,000 words, and/or by written examination.

2. The modules offered in the Lent Term will be examined before the start of Full Easter Term by an essay and/or project not exceeding 4,000 words, and/or by written examination.

3. All written examinations shall be of two or three hours' duration.
