TEMPORARY COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN ECONOMICS

Girton College seeks to appoint a temporary College Lecturer in Economics, with effect from 1 September 2008 for a fixed term of twelve months. The Lecturer will be required to teach in small group supervisions for twelve hours a week during Full Term, to act as Director of Studies for Economics students at Girton, and to take part in the administrative aspects of the College teaching in Economics. Applications are invited from those who specialize in 'core' Economics subjects, but applicants must also be able to teach advanced level macroeconomics. The majority of teaching, and directing of studies, will be for final year students.

The stipend will be on the scale of £21,477 to £34,813 a year. The stipend will be pensionable under USS.
