CONSULTATION ON DEMENTIA: ETHICAL ISSUES

The Nuffield Council on Bioethics has launched a consultation on Dementia: ethical issues. The consultation paper provides background information and asks questions on a number of different issues affecting people with dementia. Respondents are also being asked to inform them about any other areas they feel should be considered. Views are being sought from those affected by dementia themselves, carers, professionals working in the area, other stakeholders, academics, policy makers, and members of the public. Responses should, preferably, be sent electronically via the consultation website at https://consultation.nuffieldbioethics.org or by email to consultation@nuffieldbioethics.org, using the respondent's form available on the website. Hard copy responses may be posted to the Nuffield Council on Bioethics, 28 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3JS, or faxed to 020 7637 1712. The deadline for responses is 31 July 2008.
