Announcement of lectures, seminars, etc.

The following lectures and seminars will be open to members of the University and others who are interested:

Criminology. Mikey Dunn, of the Learning Disabilities Research Group, will give a seminar entitled Navigating vulnerability and risk in the protection of 'vulnerable adults', on Thursday, 29 May, at 5.30 p.m., as part of the Cambridge Socio-Legal Group Occasional Seminar Series. The seminar will be held in Room B3, Institute of Criminology, Sidgwick Avenue.

Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics. Professor Maxim Kontsevich, of IHES, Paris, will give the Eightieth Kuwait Foundation Lecture, entitled On lattice models and finite fields, at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, 27 May, in the Wolfson Room, Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Wilberforce Road (entrance on Clarkson Road before the Isaac Newton Institute).

Isaac Newton Institute. The Rothschild Visiting Professor Carsten Thomassen, of the Technical University of Denmark, will give a seminar at 5 p.m. on Monday, 2 June, entitled Maps and graphs on surfaces.
